How to access our courses

Different courses are available on different learning platforms. This is indicated on the search results and on the page describing each course. 

Most courses are accessed via the top online learning platforms: 

while others are accessed via the University's own virtual learning environment.

If you choose to enrol in a course you will need to register with the individual learning platform.

Certificates and costs

Many of our courses are free, with an option to upgrade to earn a certificate. Some courses have a tuition fee. Just select a course that interests you to see the details.

Most of our courses are self-directed, meaning you follow the course materials, complete the readings and assessments, and get help from a large community of fellow learners through online forums. 

Some courses are more structured and include interactions with course tutors.

Many of our courses are available to start on any date, to be completed at your own pace. Others follow a more structured timetable with defined start and end dates. Select a course to find out how it is delivered. Open Education Resources are always available.

Our open education resources are openly licensed instructional digital materials such as text, videos, audio files and other media. You can review these at your own pace.
