About our courses
How to access our courses
We partner with the top online learning platforms:
Different courses are available on different platforms. This is indicated on the search results and on the page describing each course.
If you choose to enrol in a course you will need to register with the individual platform.
Certificates and costs
All of our courses are free, with the option to upgrade to earn a certificate (unless otherwise stated). Just select a course that interests you to see the details.
Our courses are typically self-directed, meaning you follow the course materials, complete the readings and assessments, and get help from a large community of fellow learners through online forums.
Select a course that interests you to find out more about the duration and weekly effort required.
Many of our courses are available to start on any date, to be completed at your own pace. Others follow a more structured timetable with defined start and end dates. Select a course to find out how it is delivered. Playlists are always available.
Our playlists are collections of videos and audio files which you can access through the University Media Hopper site. The playlists are free open resources originally created for our short courses. Where the short course is no longer running, the playlist lets you work through the resources in your own time.
