Medium description

These videos will teach you how to effectively care for critically ill COVID-19 patients, whilst protecting yourself and your peers.

You will learn:

  • the daily practice for frontline clinical staff supporting critical care patients with and without COVID-19
  • how to apply ventilation and organ support principles when required
  • how to facilitate your own well-being in this high-stress, high-risk environment.

This open resource is for frontline clinical staff, with or without previous critical care experience. Skills obtained will apply beyond the current pandemic.

These videos are free open resources, originally created for the short online course COVID-19 Critical Care: Understanding and Application on FutureLearn. The course is no longer running but you can still work through the content in your own time using the videos in this open resource.
