Introduction to Predictive Analytics using Python
The videos in this open resource provides you with the skills to build a predictive model from the ground up, using Python.
You’ll understand:
- the data discovery process
- how to make connections between the predicting and predicted variables.
Through the analysis of real-life data, you will also develop an approach to implement simple linear and logistic regression models. A background in mathematics and statistics is recommended and previous experience with a procedural programming language is beneficial (e.g. Python, C, Java, Visual Basic).
These videos are free open resources originally created for the short course, Introduction to Predictive Analytics using Python. Although the course is no longer running, you can still work through the content in your own time using the videos in this open resource.
